Over the last few weeks, Year 3 have developed their Forest Schools skills through;

• · Safely using tools for whittling/shaving wood.
• · Knotted with a range of knots using string and ribbon, making a loom for weaving.
• · Awareness of the forest with sensory scavenger hunts and animal games.
• · Nature walks, identified a range of greenery , trees and herbs. Identified evergreen and deciduous trees.
• · Made table decorations for our Christmas dinner using a range of natural materials.
