At Asterdale Primary School, it is important for all children to wear school uniform every day to show belonging to our school community and shared values.

All pupils are expected to follow the school standard dress guidelines:

• Grey, black - trousers, skirts, pinafore, tailored shorts, culottes
• White or yellow - blouse, shirt, or polo shirt with collar
• Bottle green only - cardigan, sweatshirt
• Yellow or green striped / checked - dress
• Black - sensible shoes or trainers
• PE kit - black pumps, black or navy shorts and plain white t-shirt

 

Plain bottle green sweatshirts and cardigans can be purchased from supermarket clothing departments, high street stores and online.

If you prefer to purchase a sweatshirt or cardigan with a school logo these can be purchased online via Morleys (Chaddesden) - (it is not an essential requirement for branded items to be worn).

A wide range of pre-loved uniform is available for parents to take free of charge. School is able to support with purchasing uniform for individual cases.

If you are a parent who requires a bit of help with uniform, please contact via the school office and your request can be dealt with confidentially.

Seasonal -

During the summer months sun cream and sun hats may be required.

Coat or raincoat during the winter months. Boots may be worn to and from school.

Please ensure that your child has a suitable change of footwear to be worn in school.
