Assessment and Results

At Asterdale Primary School, we believe that assessment should be an integral and essential part of the process of teaching and learning.

Assessment is a tool that helps teachers to plan further learning experiences and a resource for pupils to help them become more responsibly for their own learning.  It is also a means of providing information for parents to help them become fully involved in their children's learning and development.

Additionally, assessment data enables the school to set targets for future development and improvement.

Note: The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021-22 academic year.  The last available public data is from the 2018 to 2019 academic year.  It is important to note that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
