We are proud to be an ELSA accredited school, providing emotional literacy support to our learners through targeted one-to-one and group sessions with ELSA trained practitioners as part of our commitment to nurturing the whole-child. 

Our ELSA practitioner at Asterdale is Mrs Wynne. 

Children may be referred by class teachers for a programme of dedicated ELSA sessions to address individual needs which will, in turn, support them to remove or reduce any barriers and thereby enable greater access to curriculum learning as a result of targeted bespoke activities.
