• Health and safety briefing and rules, doing a danger walk, identifying hazards with yellow cones, then following with a group discussion.
• Considered animal features with the tree game.
• Made Bird feeders using egg cartons, fat, bird seed and threading cheerios.
• Hunted for Mini beasts using magnifying glasses.
• Created spark ignition using fire steels.
• Celebrated RSPB bird week, creating bird skeletons using twigs, transferring onto paper with sketching pencils.
• Made bark rubbings, identifying tree species.
• Magnified art of forest area using window frames created with willow, painting with acrylics and fine twigs.
• Site maintenance, sawing wood and tidying. Planting daffodil bulbs around school site
